I help US companies navigate EU data and AI regulation before it becomes a blocker - in a deal, a board conversation, or a regulator's first letter.
Admitted to the Paris Bar since 2018. In private practice, I've served as external counsel and Data Protection Officer for Europe's leading industrial vehicle rental group, guided a major banking institution through post-acquisition compliance, and supported the international rollout of an e-health platform for a global NGO.
CIPP/US and CIPP/E certified (IAPP), and a graduate of the University of Oxford - Saïd Business School Artificial Intelligence Programme. In 2025, Goossaert Law became an independent partner of Romano Law, a New York-based firm with a nationwide U.S. presence.
Member of the French-American Chambers of Commerce (New York, New England). Author of several LexisNexis practical guides on digital law, and a contributor to Professor N'Dior's Dictionnaire de l'actualité internationale (Pedone). I work fluently in French and English.
